The Farm Credit Associations of Arkansas made a $1,000 donation to MANNRS (Minorities in Ag, Natural Resources & Related Services) to assist with travel and competition expenses.

Brandon Haberer presented a $6,990 check to the AR 4-H Foundation. Farm Credit makes a $10 donation for every qualifying ballot members cast in the annual director election and the funds are split equally between the AR 4-H and AR FFA Foundations. Dr. Martha Ray Sartor and Mr. John Thompson were also on hand to accept the donation.

The Farm Credit Associations of Arkansas are the premiere sponsor of the annual Arkansas Women in Agriculture Conference. Held in February, more than 170 women from across the state participated in the two-day event that featured keynote speakers, professional insight and networking opportunities.

Another successful YOUTH LOAN! Youth loan member Tatum recently visited her Magnolia Loan Officer Caleigh Watlington and paid her youth loan in full. Youth loans are available for 4-H and FFA livestock projects. (Youth loans carry a nominal interest rate and Farm Credit does not profit from youth loans.)
