We have taken great care in establishing and implementing policies and procedures to protect your personal and financial information and are committed to an ongoing review of those policies and procedures to protect that information. We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information to third parties. By using this website, you agree to this Policy.
Collection and Use of Your Personal Infomation
We do not collect any personal identifying information about you when you visit our website unless you give us that information. You may send us an email or submit other information via our website. We will use this information to respond to your request and may enter the information you submit into an electronic database. We limit the use and collection of all information to that which is necessary to respond to your request and provide high-quality service.
We may collect and use personal and additional information volunteered by you for business purposes, such as evaluating your financial needs, processing your requests and transactions, informing you about products and services which may be of interest to you, and providing customer service. The personal information we may collect includes information you provide to us on applications and other forms (such as your name, address, social security number, occupation, assets, liabilities and income) and information we receive from consumer reporting agencies, such as your credit history and credit worthiness.
We use all reasonable efforts to limit access to your personal information to those Farm Credit employees who need this information in order to conduct our business, service your account, help you accomplish your financial objectives, or when exercising our rights under the law or any agreement with you. Our employees are required under Farm Credit policy and guidelines to maintain and protect the confidentiality of your personal information and must follow established procedures to comply with Farm Credit policy and rules. To the extent that we may be required to outsource one or more aspects of our site to a supplier or service provider who performs services according to our requirements, we make every effort to restrict access by such suppliers or service providers to your information.
We may at times be a credit reference for you with other lenders and information may be exchanged with a credit reporting agency, credit bureau or similar organization. Farm Credit Association examiners or other auditors may review loan files during regular examinations of our Association. In addition, we may at times be required to disclose personal borrower information in order to comply with applicable court orders, subpoenas, laws or other legal processes, or in order to provide information to a government agency or regulatory official requesting such information, or as otherwise permitted by law. Farm Credit is committed to fully complying with the laws and regulations that have been established to protect the confidentiality of your information.
Security
Our Global Secure Server lets you conduct business using coded encryption. Any transaction that involves sending information, such as your name, loan request, or other personal information, is encrypted on both the sending and receiving ends to keep others from viewing it.
We recognize how important security is to our customers, especially when transmitting financial data. That is why we encrypt our online banking sessions within our server at 128-bit to ensure the highest cryptography level currently available. Our Global Secure Server accommodates standard 40- and 56-bit encryption. If you are using a browser that does not meet our security requirements, you will be asked to upgrade. You can run Test My Browser first to verify your browser's capabilities. The latest versions of Netscape, Microsoft and AOL browsers can be downloaded for free on their respective websites.
While Farm Credit makes every effort to protect the security of information you transmit to us, unfortunately, no data transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Farm Credit, therefore, cannot ensure or warrant the security of all information users may transmit to us. Users transmit information at their own risk. If users desire to send information to Farm Credit by postal mail, please use the address provided below.
